Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026
This policy explains the free trial, how to cancel, and when you can get money back for Business Cash Manager. It is part of the Business Cash Manager Terms of Service.
The short version: you get a free trial before you are charged anything, you get another 30 days after your first charge to change your mind and get all of it back, and if you are on an annual plan you get your unused months back after that.

The free trial
New accounts get a free trial of the length shown in the table above, which is 30 days for Business Cash Manager. A payment method is required to start the trial, but you are not charged during it.
Nothing is charged until the trial ends. At the end of the trial, unless you have cancelled, your subscription begins and the payment method on file is charged for your selected plan.
To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends. Sign in, go to Your account, and click Manage billing. That opens our payment provider's billing portal, where you can cancel. You can do this at any point during the trial, including on the last day. There is no form to fill out, no email to send, and no one to talk to first.
That same billing portal shows the date your trial ends and the date of your next charge, so you can always check where you stand.
Cancelling
Sign in, go to Your account, and click Manage billing. That opens our payment provider's billing portal, where you can cancel. You can do this at any time.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not immediately cut off your access. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, and the subscription simply does not renew.
Cancelling does not delete your data. If you want your data removed as well, use Delete your account on the same Your account page, which is a separate and permanent action.
You can export all of your data to CSV at any time, including after you cancel. Export is not restricted to paying subscribers.
Refunds
First 30 days after your first charge: full refund
If you are unhappy for any reason within 30 days of your first charge, contact us and we will refund that charge in full. This applies to both the monthly and annual plans.
You do not have to explain why. We may ask what went wrong, because it helps us fix things, but an answer is not a condition of the refund.
Combined with the free trial, this gives you roughly 60 days from sign-up before any money is permanently spent.
Annual plans after the first 30 days: prorated refund
If you are on an annual plan and cancel after the 30 day refund window, we refund the unused portion of your year, calculated by full months remaining from the date you cancel.
For example, if you cancel with four full months left in your annual term, you receive a refund for those four months. Partial months are not refunded.
Monthly plans after the first 30 days: no refund
If you are on a monthly plan and cancel after the 30 day refund window, we do not refund the month in progress. Your subscription stops renewing and you keep access through the end of that month.
Because you can cancel at any time, the most you can ever lose by forgetting to cancel is a single month. For Business Cash Manager that is $29.
If we end your subscription
If we discontinue the Service, or close your account for a reason other than your breach of our Terms of Service, we refund all unused prepaid time regardless of the windows above.
Exceptions
We may decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeatedly signing up for trials to avoid paying, or requesting a refund after exporting a full year of data and cancelling on a recurring pattern.
This is not a trap for ordinary customers. If you signed up, used it honestly, and it was not right for you, you get your money back.
If it is not working for you
Please tell us before you cancel.
We would like to work with you to get the best use out of the software. That covers usage questions, setup help, and anything that is not doing what your business needs it to do. That help is free, it is not limited to your first month, and it is not conditional on staying subscribed. If something is confusing, if the numbers do not look the way you expect, or if you are not sure how to set it up for the way your business actually runs, ask us. That is a normal part of what you are paying for, not a favor.
And if we work through it together and you are still truly unhappy with the software, we will refund you. We would rather give your money back than have you keep paying for something that is not helping your business.
How to request a refund
Email support@businesscashmanager.com from the address on your account and tell us you would like a refund.
- We respond within two business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Your bank or card issuer usually posts it within 5 to 10 business days. That last part is up to them, not us.
Please contact us before disputing a charge
If something looks wrong on your statement, email us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a dispute can, and a chargeback filed against a subscription we would have refunded anyway costs us a fee and gets you your money more slowly.
Taxes
Any sales tax collected is refunded along with the refunded amount where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to charges made after the new version takes effect, never retroactively to a charge you have already paid. The effective date at the top of this page is always current.
